My contributions were system design, level design, game concept, narrative, and art direction.
Dr. Cardo’s Glass Factory of Edible Wonders is a concept VR game that takes the real-life art of glassblowing and candy making, to a never before seen virtual experience. In a world shared by humans and monsters alike, players will take the roll of apprentice under the legendary Dr. Cardo. With his guidance, players will fulfill candyglass orders from hungry monsters by creating magnificent works of art using an array of glassblowing tools and candy concoctions.
Our goal with this game was to explore digital art and narrative through virtual reality using a medium we have yet to see explored in the industry. To drive our concept to reality, our small team of two, partnered with Oculus in their Oculus Start program. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the game was cancelled.
In its wake, we have wonderful concept art and an exciting pitch deck (this is how we partnered with Oculus)!
